Staff Systems Engineer

SRC, Inc•Albuquerque, NM
•$107,000 - $130,000

About The Position

SRC, Inc. is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer for an upcoming position contingent on task award. The role supports the Department of War’s efforts to identify and defeat hard deeply buried targets (HDBT). It requires a strong technical foundation in analysis of alternatives (AoA) and systems engineering process management, and involves coordinating across manufacturing, testing, and operational organizations as technologies are integrated into end-to-end WMD/HDBT programs. The engineer will also assist with transition strategies through Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs) and collaborate with multidisciplinary government, military, and contractor teams. The position supports AoA and trade-off analysis, vulnerability and exploitation assessments, systems engineering process and schedule management, modeling and simulation capability gap analysis, and assessment of design limits and margins. The role is based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico; the posting gives an anticipated annual salary range of $107,000 to $130,000, with actual compensation varying based on experience, skills, abilities, location, and organizational needs.

  • Eight or more years of experience.
  • Active Top Secret / SCI security clearance, or eligibility for SCI at the time of application.
  • Proven experience conducting vulnerability analysis, analysis of alternatives, gap analysis, and trade-off studies within a DoD or government contracting framework.
  • Proficiency in uncertainty quantification and statistical analysis methodologies applied to complex engineering systems.
  • Ability to develop and manage systems engineering master schedules and technical baselines in compliance with DoW standards, such as MIL-STD and DoDAF.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce and present technical deliverables to government stakeholders.

Nice To Haves
