About The Position

Hidden Level is transforming airspace safety with innovative, scalable drone detection and airspace technology. We provide real-time, actionable data to enhance security across various environments. We're looking for a Staff Systems Engineer who will apply their skills to lead internal product development and customer integration and adoption activities. This will be achieved through the analysis and support of sensor systems at each stage in the product lifecycle from conceptualization to deployment and maintenance.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 10+ years of professional experience
  • Extensive knowledge of Radar and/or communication systems using software-defined radios, custom hardware, and/or other COTS devices
  • Extensive knowledge of State estimation, data fusion, and Kalman filtering techniques and their implementation in tracking algorithms
  • Extensive knowledge of Sensor performance modeling and simulation
  • Extensive knowledge of Digital signal processing
  • Extensive knowledge of Analytical programming platforms such as MATLAB or Python
  • Ability to travel 10%

Responsibilities

  • Design and implementation of algorithms and analysis methods and tools for radar, direction finding, or other surveillance sensor systems
  • Lead the development of system architecture for new hardware designs
  • Organize and participate in design reviews
  • Collaborate with Software, Systems, Digital and RF engineers to advance overall product capabilities
  • Play an active role in the validation and verification of both design and system-level capabilities
  • Provide professional mentorship and technical guidance to engineering teams
