About The Position

The NPI Execution Supply Chain team at Marvell plays a critical leadership role in enabling successful, on-time launches of complex semiconductor products by driving end-to-end supply chain execution across a global ecosystem of internal teams and external partners. As a Sr Staff NPI Planner, based in our Bay Area office, you will be at the heart of new product introductions, owning end-to-end NPI supply planning and execution for multiple high-impact programs across Marvell. You will serve as the primary supply chain interface to the Program Management Office (PMO) and Engineering organization, ensuring supply readiness, part setup accuracy, build execution, and ramp alignment from early development through transition to mass production. This role requires deep ownership of NPI supply planning outcomes, proactive risk management, and the ability to drive alignment and influence decisions across PMO, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders. You will represent the supply chain function in weekly and monthly cross-functional reviews, delivering clear, data-driven status and risk communications to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Operations, or a related field.
  • 6-10 years of experience in supply chain, NPI planning, or operations, with demonstrated ownership of complex, cross-functional program execution.
  • Semiconductor Supply Chain experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and influence skills, with a proven track record of driving alignment across PMO, Engineering, and supplier organizations in a fast-paced NPI environment.
  • Deep expertise in end-to-end NPI supply planning, including material requirements planning, build scheduling, capacity management, and ramp readiness across prototype-to-production phases.
  • Hands-on experience with part setup, BOM management, and ERP data governance in Oracle or equivalent systems, with strong attention to data accuracy and process rigor.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple NPI programs simultaneously, navigating ambiguity, competing priorities, and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to present supply chain status, risks, and recommendations clearly and confidently in cross-functional meetings with PMO, Engineering, and senior leadership audiences.
  • Deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing flows, including foundry, assembly, packaging, and supply chain dependencies.
  • Strong analytical and data management skills, including experience with WIP tracking, planning systems, and driving data accuracy across ERP and reporting tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools; experience with forecasting and planning models is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and present clear, actionable insights to diverse audiences.

Nice To Haves

  • experience with forecasting and planning models is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Own full end-to-end NPI supply planning from early prototype through qualification and into high-volume manufacturing (HVM) ramp, with accountability for supply readiness, milestone delivery, and inventory positioning across all program phases.
  • Develop and maintain detailed NPI supply plans, including material requirements, build schedules, capacity commitments, and ramp assumptions aligned to program milestones and revenue targets.
  • Lead NPI-to-Mass Production (MP) transition planning, ensuring readiness across supply, capacity, data integrity, and execution systems to support on-time revenue ramp.
  • Proactively identify and resolve supply constraints, lead-time risks, and capacity gaps across the extended supply chain, driving mitigation plans in coordination with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Own end-to-end part setup and BOM execution for NPI programs, including creation, validation, and maintenance of parts, configurations, and work orders in Oracle ERP to ensure accurate and complete material readiness.
  • Drive BOM accuracy reviews in collaboration with Engineering and PMO, ensuring all part configurations, approved vendor lists (AVLs), and engineering change orders (ECOs) are reflected accurately and on time in planning systems.
  • Establish and enforce part setup governance processes across NPI phases, ensuring data integrity from initial design release through production handoff.
  • Identify and resolve systemic part setup gaps and ERP data quality issues, partnering with IT, Engineering, and operations teams to drive continuous improvement in data accuracy and planning fidelity.
  • Serve as the primary supply chain partner to the Program Management Office (PMO), embedding supply planning visibility and risk insights directly into program schedules, milestone reviews, and executive decision-making.
  • Partner closely with Engineering teams to align on prototype build requirements, material qualification timelines, design changes, and supply implications from early NPI stages through production release.
  • Translate Engineering and PMO requirements into actionable supply plans, ensuring cross-functional alignment on build priorities, material availability, and schedule trade-offs.
  • Drive proactive communication of supply risks, constraints, and mitigation options to PMO and Engineering stakeholders, enabling informed and timely program decisions.
  • Represent the NPI supply chain function in weekly cross-functional program reviews, delivering structured supply status, risk summaries, and action item updates to PMO, Engineering, and Operations leadership.
  • Lead monthly supply chain reviews with senior leadership, presenting NPI portfolio health, ramp readiness, inventory positions, and key risks with clear mitigation plans.
  • Develop and maintain standardized supply chain reporting packages, dashboards, and executive briefing materials that provide real-time visibility into program status, WIP, and KPIs.
  • Synthesize complex supply chain data into concise, decision-ready insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders across organizational levels.
  • Establish and lead NPI WIP data management processes, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and visibility of material status across the supply chain to enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Lead execution with external suppliers (foundries, OSATs, substrate vendors), proactively managing supply, capacity, and cycle time risks across geographically distributed operations.
  • Leverage Oracle ERP and internal planning dashboards to monitor supply readiness, program schedules, and execution KPIs in real time.
  • Identify systemic gaps in NPI execution and drive process improvements across planning, data accuracy, and cross-functional coordination.
