About The Position
DuBois & King, Inc is seeking a Staff Structural Engineer with 0 - 5 years of experience. This is a full time engineering position in our busy and growing Structural Engineering Group. Our markets include commercial, industrial, institutional, healthcare, recreational, and government projects throughout New England.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in civil or structural engineering
- AutoCAD and Revit proficiency required and comfortable with engineering design software.
Nice To Haves
- EIT in VT or NH or ability to obtain within 6-12 months is preferred
- Strong technical skills combined with clear, concise written and verbal communication skills are important
Responsibilities
- Preparing calculations under the supervision of an experienced engineer using current material and building codes and relevant design standards.
- Proficiency with design software such as Ram, Enercalc, and RetainPro, among others.
- Ability to work in Revit to assist with the preparation of drawings and sketches including completion of redlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Conducting field work to survey existing conditions or review project conformance with plans.
- Flexibility with schedule to accommodate project requirements as necessary.
