About The Position
Flex-Able Solutions LLC is hiring a Staff or Senior Staff Accountant to provide fractional finance support to its clients. The role supports clients across different industries and includes accounting operations, nonprofit grant and restricted-fund work, financial reporting, and contributions to budgeting, performance metrics, and financial planning. The position is full-time, with a hybrid/remote work environment and flexible scheduling.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience; experience with nonprofit organizations is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel, including reconciliations, reporting, and analysis.
- Experience with month-end close, journal entries, general ledger review, and preparing accurate financial statements.
- Understanding of nonprofit accounting principles, including restricted funds, grant tracking, and grant reporting requirements.
- Experience with payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and related internal controls.

Responsibilities
- Handle payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable, and day-to-day bookkeeping for clients.
- Perform grant billing, grant compliance, and restricted-fund management.
- Complete month-end tasks and account reconciliations.
- Assist with preparing and reviewing financial statements.
- Contribute to budget strategies, performance metrics, and financial planning.
