About The Position

This position will lead a team of highly skilled software engineers, providing technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to drive the successful delivery of complex software projects. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, technical program managers, and stakeholders, to define technical strategies, set priorities, and ensure the team's adherence to engineering best practices. This position will require a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a track record of building and scaling high-performing engineering teams.

Requirements

Proven experience in a technical leadership or management role, leading and managing software engineering teams.
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to set priorities, manage resources, and drive the successful execution and delivery of projects.
Significant professional experience as a software engineer, with a track record of delivering complex software projects.
Strong technical expertise in one or more programming languages and technology stacks, such as Rust, C++, Python, or others
Great troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges and make sound decisions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong commitment to quality, attention to detail, and continuous improvement.
In-depth understanding of software development methodologies, engineering best practices, and architectural patterns.
Strategic thinking and the ability to align technical initiatives with business goals.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of software engineers.
