About The Position

Xometry is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join its Core Platform team in a strategic technical leadership role focused on the architectural evolution of a flagship enterprise partnership. The engineer will re-architect core application services so they operate natively within a partner’s digital ecosystem, establishing patterns that enable Xometry’s AI to work directly with the partner’s native 3D geometry. The goal is to support real-time design-for-manufacturability feedback and one-click procurement within the partner’s enterprise design environment. This role shapes the technical direction of multiple products and leads the execution of the core integration. It covers high-performance, extensible, scalable architecture; production machine-learning integration; secure data governance; enterprise reliability; and multi-tenant management. The engineer will collaborate across Xometry’s engineering, marketplace, and data science teams, as well as with partner organizations and senior leadership. The position follows a hybrid schedule of three days per week at the North Bethesda, Maryland, or Waltham, Massachusetts office. The estimated base salary is $176,250–$182,500 annually, plus an annual bonus. Total compensation includes base salary, bonus, and equity.
