Watershed is an enterprise sustainability platform used by companies like Airbnb, Carlyle Group, FedEx, Visa, and Dr. Martens to manage climate and ESG data, produce audit-ready metrics for voluntary and regulatory reporting, and drive decarbonization. We are seeking team members who are passionate about product development, dedicated to working hard at a mission-oriented startup, and eager to contribute to shaping the culture of a growing team. Watershed has offices in San Francisco, New York, Denver, London, Paris, Berlin, Sydney, Mexico City, and remote team members across the US and Europe. This role is for a Staff Full-Stack Engineer within the Sustainability Platform (SusPlat) organization, which is responsible for Watershed's core measurement engine. The systems built by this group handle every customer footprint, sustainability report, and emissions insight generated by Watershed. SusPlat covers the entire data lifecycle, from collecting raw enterprise data and transforming it, to running emissions calculations, and making the results accessible for querying and action by customers and internal teams. This is a critical, high-impact role that enables Fortune 500 companies to understand their carbon emissions across vast and complex operational landscapes. The engineer will collaborate with product managers, designers, and climate scientists to develop technically sound and genuinely useful systems for sustainability professionals. Additionally, this role involves being a founding member of Watershed's Denver engineering team, contributing to the establishment of its culture, practices, and technical direction.
