Staff Software Engineer
About The Position
Casap Technologies, Inc. is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to lead development of scalable backend systems supporting its AI-powered financial automation and dispute management platform. The role involves designing and implementing microservices, reusable libraries, and configurable system components; developing and integrating backend services with credit card networks, banking systems, and merchant platforms; and leading end-to-end product feature development, including system architecture, technology solutions, and implementation strategies. The engineer will also improve engineering infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, system performance, security, and reliability. The position requires in-person work in San Francisco, California.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Five years of experience in the job offered or a software development-related occupation.
- Experience or academic background in backend software development and scalable system architecture.
- Experience or academic background designing and implementing microservices and distributed backend systems.
- Experience or academic background developing reusable software frameworks, libraries, and configurable system components.
- Experience or academic background integrating backend services with external APIs, financial networks, banking systems, and merchant platforms.
- Experience or academic background in end-to-end software development, including system architecture, technology selection, and feature implementation.
- Experience or academic background with CI/CD pipelines, software deployment, and engineering infrastructure.
- Experience or academic background optimizing backend systems for performance, security, reliability, and scalability.
- Experience or academic background designing software systems for high-volume transaction processing and complex financial workflows.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of scalable backend systems for Casap’s AI-powered financial automation and dispute management platform.
