Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of software development experience, with a focus on data infrastructure.
  • Proven track record of architecting and delivering complex, large-scale data projects.
  • Strong expertise in big data components such as Kafka, Clickhouse, Spark and other distributed computing systems.
  • Strong expertise with orchestrating, scaling, and managing containerized applications in production environments using Kubernetes (K8s) and Terraform/Helm.
  • Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale data platforms on cloud computing systems like AWS.
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, Bash, and Go with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence technical roadmaps and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Proven leadership experience in mentoring and developing engineers.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver high-impact results.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of tying into various authorization/authentication systems.
  • Networking and network security knowledge.
  • Deep expertise in Clickhouse: demonstrated experience in architecting, tuning, and operating Clickhouse at scale.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient technical solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data lifecycle, adhering to industry best practices and compliance standards.
