About The Position

Develop high-performance hardware interfacing Real Time Operating System like FreeRTOS based SafeRTOS, Linux kernel drivers and system libraries. Architect frameworks for our next generation of SoC based systems from conception to production. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and integration. Contribute to the development of safety-critical software by applying best practices for embedded software development in automotive and other safety-critical domains. Up to 20% domestic travel required. Hybrid Work Policy - 3 days In-office, 2 days remote - Must be able to report to local office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study
  • Five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineer or related occupation.
  • Five (5) years of experience with Embedded Software Development
  • Five (5) years of experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS), specifically FreeRTOS and SafeRTOS
  • Five (5) years of experience with Safety-critical software development with exposure to ASIL B and ASIL D standards in the automotive and industrial domain
  • Five (5) years of experience with C/C++ programming for embedded systems
  • Five (5) years of experience with Embedded hardware architectures, including processors, memory management, and peripherals
  • Five (5) years of experience with Linux-based embedded operating systems
  • Five (5) years of experience with Communication protocols including CAN, SPI, I2C, and UART
  • Five (5) years of experience with Linux kernel subsystems including UART
  • Five (5) years of experience with Deploying commercial embedded systems
