About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Backend Automation team within our Software Engineering organization. Your job will be to lead the development and execution of automation solutions that validate Symbotic software across customers, sites, and releases. This role will help drive software quality, improve release confidence, and support the continued growth of Symbotic's automation platform.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 6 years of experience testing complex software systems.
Minimum 6 years of experience developing automation solutions.
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architectures.
Experience working in a dynamic Agile development environment.
Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) using Gherkin, SpecFlow, or Reqnroll.
Extensive experience developing software in C#.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary technical contact for the Backend Automation team.
Lead efforts to validate Symbotic software across customers, sites, and releases.
Coordinate work across team members to ensure project priorities and deliverables are met.
Create and manage Jira work items to support team objectives and engineering requests.
Assign work across engineers and provide technical guidance on automation initiatives.
Resolve day-to-day technical challenges and drive improvements in testing and automation processes.
Partner with management to establish priorities and support the execution of team goals.
