About The Position
Hercules is looking for a senior or staff level infrastructure engineer to help build the future of AI software development. The role involves building and maintaining the infrastructure that powers Hercules' AI Agent, App Builder, App Hosting, SDK, and Platform. This includes developing scalable and reliable backend systems for hosting applications, integrating headless SaaS components, and supporting a large user base.
Requirements
- Strong software fundamentals including system design, architecture, data modeling, and API design.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code and work effectively in monorepos.
- Experience scaling large, data-intensive, multi-tenant, distributed services.
- Demonstrated product sense with a track record of independently shipping customer-impacting changes.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, React, containers, Postgres, Redis, and Temporal.
- Familiarity with AI to enhance workflow.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the infrastructure powering our AI Agent, App Builder, App Hosting, SDK, and Platform.
- Develop scalable and reliable backend systems for hosting hundreds of thousands of apps.
- Integrate headless SaaS components like Hercules Commerce, Hercules Auth, Hercules CMS, and Hercules Files & Media.
- Support an enterprise-grade platform for hundreds of thousands of users.
