The Staff, Software Engineer plays a critical role in delivering scalable platform capabilities and driving the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in various elements of full stack software development – native mobile, web front end, back end, and hands-on coding experience in the past
- Experience with full software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, CI/CD deployment, observability, and maintenance.
- Previous knowledge of designing and developing advanced applications for the Android platform
- Experience with Android SDK, Services, and various methods of background processing
- Demonstrated technical leadership, mentorship, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
- Data-driven decision-making skills to define metrics and optimize engineering processes.
- Adaptability to evolving technologies and complex system contexts.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
- 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related area
- Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.

Responsibilities
- Deliver platform capabilities including infrastructure, tooling, and ML frameworks aligned with roadmap priorities to ensure scalable and resilient systems.
- Lead full software development lifecycle activities such as coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Apply cloud-native architecture principles to enhance system agility and performance.
- Conduct system design reviews to validate quality and alignment with architectural standards.
- Build AI-driven applications integrating ML components and automation features.
- Mentor engineers, influence technical decisions, and promote engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and track success metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement through innovation, error correction, and knowledge sharing.
