About The Position

As a backend/AI engineer at Aircall, you will be working on developing scalable AI applications to be used by our 20,000+ customers. You will be a part of the AI Products Platform team, working on areas like agent context, agent infrastructure, MCP, agent memory etc. You will work closely with backend, front end and infrastructure engineers, as well as product and leadership teams. You will also participate in requirements analysis and design of these systems.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in back-end development in with Python, Typescript/Node.js or Java
Focus on delivering for security, scalability, availability, and performance
Knowledge of AI and experience in AI is a strong plus
Knowledge about LLMs (GPT, Mistral, Llama, Claude, etc.) and experience developing with them (usage, prompting, etc)
Knowledge of AI frameworks (Langchain, LlamaIndex, Auto Gen, etc)
Knowledge of AI architectures (RAG, reranking, etc)
Security is at the forefront of your mind in everything that you do

Nice To Haves

Worked with AWS in a production environment
Understand how to design for, deploy on and get the best out of, the environment and services provided by Amazon
