CVS Shared Services Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Staff Software Development Engineer to lead the Architecture, design and development of the platform engineering initiatives and the Software Development Engineering team. Act as an executive technical leader across strategic efforts, leveraging partners, technical leads, and technical expertise to execute and inform processes and outcomes. Be a technologist and work with other Software and DevOps Engineers in planning, prioritizing and performing assigned tasks meeting business timelines and quality expectations. Develop and implement the platform engineering strategy, architecture, and roadmap. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement. Advocate and Drive implementation of security best practices. Lead and execute Automation of CI-CD pipelines for Enterprise leveraging tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Octopus, GitLab. Identify and Lead Software development Initiatives thereby building digital platform solutions to the customers. Hire and mentor Software Development Managers and Engineers and responsible for their development growth. Independently lead development of solutions with high complexity and risk. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Systems Engineering or a related field.
- 60 months of Progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- Five (5) years of experience in CI/CDJenkins, GIT, or DevOps
- Five (5) years of experience in XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript
- Five (5) years of experience in Agile methodologies
- Five (5) years of experience in SAFe Software Development Principles
- Five (5) years of experience in Frameworks: Angular, JavaScript, React, jQuery, Ajax, Bootstrap, or Backbone
- Five (5) years of experience in Object-oriented JavaScript
- Five (5) years of experience in REST, SOAP, or Web Service APIs
- Five (5) years of experience in JIRA, Rally, or Confluence
- Five (5) years of experience in Infrastructure components: GPU’s or CPU’s
- Five (5) years of experience in Software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Five (5) years of experience in Software testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting
- Five (5) years of experience in Domain support for healthcare or retail organization
- Five (5) years of experience in Web and mobile applications development
- Five (5) years of experience in Writing application code and deploying to production
- Five (5) years of experience in Developing backend services, performing code reviews, and collaborating with peers on software development solutions
Responsibilities
