About The Position
Spectrum is seeking a Staff Scientist to join our team in Alabaster. This role involves demonstrating leadership in all assigned tasks and projects, emphasizing Spectrum's Vision and maintaining a safe work environment. You will also be responsible for conducting daily activities in a manner that exemplifies Spectrum's quality of work product standards and promoting the company's overall mission and core principles (H.I.R.E.S.).
Requirements
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Biology or related environmental field
- Pre-employment physical, drug screen, and review of Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and background check
Nice To Haves
- 1+ years’ experience in the environmental field
Responsibilities
- Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments
- Soil and groundwater sampling
- Geologic Evaluations
- Mold Evaluations
- Assessment staff training and development
- Task/Project management and coordination
- Demonstrate leadership in all tasks and projects assigned

- Maintain a safe work environment
