About The Position

Conducts research development and daily operations of the project’s programs. Ensures team communication and programming. Key responsibilities include assistance with compliance, IACUC, IRB and FDA application coordination, liaison to all internal and external stakeholders, and preparation of sponsor reports. Conducts research and coordinates collaborations among research teams to ensure project goals and milestones are on track.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.

Responsibilities

  • Leads research projects and manages staff performing all project components.
  • Ensures compliance.
  • Manages progress by ensuring project goals and milestones are on track.
  • Implements strategic priorities set by the Professor.
  • Serves as people-oriented, collaborative leader, building a collaborative culture based on teamwork, open communication, innovation, mentoring and accountability.
  • Provides technical expertise associated with the implementation of studies and projects.
  • May participate in the development and writing of manuscripts, conference presentations, research protocols and grant applications.
  • Manages IACUC, IRB and FDA application coordination and preparation of sponsor reports.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
