About The Position

The Staff Salesforce DevOps Engineer is the technical leader for the release lifecycle, architecting a robust CI/CD framework for complex Salesforce deployments. This role drives advanced automation, self-service tooling, and integrates AI-driven development practices to ensure predictable, high-quality, and scalable releases. Crucially, this Staff Engineer will also leverage deep Salesforce development expertise to proactively diagnose and resolve complex technical issues impacting releases and production stability.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development, DevOps, or Systems Engineering.
  • Deep expertise in Salesforce CI/CD architecture and enterprise-scale release management (e.g., Copado, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • Architectural ownership of complex automation tooling and integration strategies across a diverse tech stack (Salesforce, NetSuite, Workato, etc.).
  • Experience with version control tools (GitHub preferred) and at least one development language (e.g., Python or Java).
  • Proven experience utilizing Generative AI or Copilot-style tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) for improving development, testing, or operations workflows.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with any of the following Enterprise Applications: Netsuite, Workato, RevPro.
  • Direct experience leading high-risk migration projects, such as large-scale DocuSign/namespace changes.
  • Experience with performance testing tools, logging and monitoring (Datadog/Splunk), and data masking.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and evolve the global CI/CD framework for complex Salesforce deployments, driving advanced automation and self-service tooling for scale.
  • Lead cross-application release management across Salesforce, NetSuite, AWS, and other Business Systems, ensuring high-velocity delivery in an enterprise ecosystem.
  • Provide technical leadership in resolving systemic deployment challenges and architecting environment strategies including refreshes and data access governance.
  • Act as a technical liaison for Business Systems, Engineering, and Operations, having an understanding of roadmaps and how their dependencies and schedules align.
  • Provide deep technical support for releases, incident response, and major system upgrades.
  • Leverage cutting edge AI tools to enhance your development workflow, improve velocity, and help pioneer new approaches to building - contributing to a culture of innovation and productivity across the team.
