About The Position

Overlake Medical Center and Clinics is currently seeking a Registered Nurse for our Post-Partum Unit. The 28-bed unit provides Family Centered Care and includes antepartum and gynecological surgery patients. This is a PER DIEM position with 12-hour NIGHT shifts. Join our compassionate team of patient care professionals in our State-of-the-Art Childbirth Center, which comprises labor and delivery, emergency obstetrics, mother and baby unit, and a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing required.
• Current WA state RN license or Multistate RN license required.
• Healthcare provider CPR & NRP Certifications required.
• Mother Baby Unit experience required.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.
• RNs hired into units that require a competency in cardiac rhythm interpretation will be required to take a rhythm assessment in their first week.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in the Post-Partum Unit, including antepartum and gynecological surgery patients.
• Work within a State-of-the-Art Childbirth Center, which comprises labor and delivery, emergency obstetrics, mother and baby unit, and a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
• Perform cardiac rhythm interpretation if required by the unit, including standard cardiac rhythms, dysrhythmias, and paced rhythms.
