About The Position

Plans, organizes, coordinates and provides direct nursing care for an identified group of patients according to specific standards.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
  • Current unrestricted Wisconsin RN license required
  • Excellent customer service, critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills required
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required
  • At least one year experience in Med/Surg required for Critical Care, Emergency Services, Specialty Float, and General Float roles
  • ACLS required within first year of hire for Critical Care, Emergency Services, Specialty Float, and Prep & Holding/PACU roles
  • A minimum of 2 years of RN experience required for Cancer Center role
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required upon hire for Cancer Center role

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer experience in ER, and/or CCU nursing for Critical Care role
  • Paramedic experience only for Emergency Services role (for new graduates)
  • PALS and TNCC preferred for Emergency Services role
  • Prefer one year experience in Med/Surg, Pediatric and/or OB nursing for Women's and Children's Center role
  • ER &/or CCU experience preferred for Specialty Float role
  • Prefer at least two years experience in CCU, Cardiac Rehab, ER, or in Surgical Services nursing for Prep & Holding/PACU role
  • Prefer two years experience in Med/Surg and/or Ortho nursing for Surgery Center/Special Procedures role
  • Ambulatory Per-Anesthesia nursing certificate and ACLS preferred for Surgery Center/Special Procedures role
  • Prefer two to three years experience in Surgical/Ortho and/or Operating Room nursing for Surgical Services: Operating Room role
  • Operating Room Nurse certificate preferred for Surgical Services: Operating Room role
  • Preferred experience in Med/Surg and/or Oncology for Cancer Center role
