Requirements

  • ACLS provider wtihin 6 months of hire.
  • PALS provider within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Performs patient assessments in a systematic and organized manner to provide high quality and safe outcomes.
  • Provides direction and collaborates with team members to support a healthy work environment.
  • Analyzes collected data to formulate a plan of care that contributes to high quality and safe outcomes.
  • Implements a plan of care with measurable criteria consistent with work class performance levels.
  • Evaluates the plan of care with the patient and family/support system to maintain world class levels of patient satisfaction and outcomes.
  • Contributes to a high performance work environment by seeking educational resources that enhance and maintain current knowledge and skills.
  • Apply for nursing council or committee and be vested on one council at least every 5 years. 80% attendance in person or by phone is required. Advancements in Clinical Ladder will be reflected in yearly application process and is expected for job performance standards.
  • Demonstrates recognition, interpretation, and recording of patients signs and symptoms. Demonstrates advanced knowledge in pathophysiology to anticipate medical and/or nursing interventions.
  • Maintains central lines, midlines, PICC's.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and ability for outpatient procedures (blood patch, paracentesis, ocl splinting, etc.).
  • Performs 12 lead EKG's in collaboration with Cardiology Department.
  • Assists with lab specimen collections in collaboration with Laboratory.
