About The Position

Overlake Medical Center and Clinics is currently seeking energetic, compassionate, collegiate, RNs to join our Cardiac Stroke Telemetry Unit. This 36-bed unit has a patient population that includes open heart, post vascular surgeries, intermediate care, stroke and telemetry.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing required.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington (or a multi-State license from a Compact state).
• BLS & ACLS required.
• Two-years experience in Progressive Cardiac Care/Telemetry experience required.
• Must take a rhythm assessment in the first week, including standard cardiac rhythms, dysrhythmias and paced rhythms.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.
• PCCN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients on a 36-bed Cardiac Stroke Telemetry Unit, including those with open heart, post vascular surgeries, intermediate care, stroke, and telemetry needs.
• Administer care on 12-hour shifts, working 0.6 FTE (48 hours per biweekly pay period).
• Interpret cardiac rhythms, including standard cardiac rhythms, dysrhythmias, and paced rhythms, as required by the unit competency assessment.
