About The Position

The Staff Recruiter partners with talent acquisition professionals and hiring managers to develop and execute recruitment strategies that identify, attract, engage, and hire top talent. This role primarily supports Environmental Services hiring managers while supporting other requisitions as needed. The position will focus on building and maintaining strong talent pipelines that allow the organization to respond quickly as project and workforce needs arise.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to use Boolean search techniques across internet search engines, professional networks, applicant tracking systems, and candidate databases.
  • Proven ability to develop targeted sourcing strategies and build pipelines for specialized and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Experience generating and maintaining candidate pipelines through LinkedIn Recruiter, direct outreach, cold calling, AI-enabled recruiting tools, referrals, and other sourcing channels.
  • Strong research, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to organize and segment large candidate populations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships, provide excellent customer service, and communicate effectively with candidates, hiring managers, and talent acquisition partners.
  • Ability to manage multiple pipelines and priorities while maintaining accurate and complete candidate information within applicable recruiting systems.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and recruiting compliance requirements.
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of personal, confidential, and proprietary information.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems, recruitment CRMs, and internet-based sourcing tools.
  • Four years of sourcing or recruiting experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field required.

  • Experience with Yello, Taleo, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Previous experience sourcing or recruiting for technical or field-based positions, particularly within environmental services, land services, engineering, or construction.
  • Experience recruiting in a high-volume or project-driven environment with changing workforce needs.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry roles, terminology, project delivery methods, and talent markets.
  • Experience developing, extending, and negotiating employment offers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to identify qualified talent for current and anticipated hiring needs.
  • Build, organize, and maintain pipelines of prospective candidates across key roles, skill sets, geographic markets, and levels of experience.
  • Conduct talent mapping and market research to identify where qualified candidates are located, how they are employed, and the most effective ways to reach them.
  • Use a variety of sourcing channels, including direct outreach, professional networks, industry associations, referrals, databases, job boards, social media, events, and other creative approaches.
  • Develop and execute candidate outreach campaigns tailored to specific talent segments, project needs, and geographic markets.
  • Capture and maintain accurate candidate information, qualifications, interests, availability, geographic preferences, and engagement history within applicable recruiting systems and talent communities.
  • Build ongoing relationships with prospective candidates, maintaining regular communication to keep them engaged and informed of future opportunities.
  • Re-engage previously identified candidates as relevant positions and project needs arise.
  • Conduct initial candidate screens to evaluate interest, qualifications, experience, geographic preferences, availability, compensation expectations, and alignment with position requirements.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand position requirements, project timelines, workforce needs, job responsibilities, and how each role supports broader business goals.
  • Recommend qualified candidates to hiring managers and provide relevant context regarding their experience, interests, availability, and potential fit.
  • Partner with talent acquisition professionals and hiring managers to prioritize pipelines and adjust sourcing strategies based on evolving project needs.
  • Track sourcing activity, candidate engagement, pipeline strength, and other relevant measures to evaluate progress and identify gaps.
  • Share market and candidate insights with hiring managers and talent acquisition leaders, including talent availability, geographic considerations, compensation expectations, and recruiting challenges.
  • Represent and promote the organization, career opportunities, and benefits to attract and engage top talent.
  • Provide candidates with a consistent, timely, and positive experience throughout the recruiting process.
  • Understand, follow, and ensure compliance with all established policies, processes, procedures, and applicable employment laws.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of personal, confidential, and proprietary information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
