About The Position

This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Provide evidence-based therapies to Veterans with a range of mental health conditions. Provide a full range of therapeutic interventions. Consults with medical center staff and external health professionals in providing care. Perform assessment of and provide disposition to Veterans who present for assessment to the Mental Health Clinic or provide assessment through other intake portals. Travel ass needed between sites to provide psychological services. Work variable tours of duty to possibly include earlier or later tours to accommodate needs of Veterans. Other duties as requested or assigned.
