The Penn State Psychological Clinic is seeking a full-time Staff Psychologist/Therapist to provide a variety of adult clinical services in a dynamic training and community mental health environment, as part of Penn State's top-rated clinical psychology doctoral training program. The clinic is among the largest associated with a doctoral training program in the United States and serves a dual purpose as the training and research site for the Ph.D. program in Clinical Psychology, and a large community mental health center. The Psychological Clinic, located on Penn State’s University Park campus, provides psychological and psychiatric outpatient treatment and psychological and neuropsychological assessment for adults, families, adolescents, and children, as well as school- and community-based intervention programs. All services of this position will be expected to be performed according to relevant ethical and professional standards of care, using evidence-based treatment approaches. This position will be filled as a Mental Health Counselor – Senior Professional or Psychologist – Advanced Professional, depending on the final applicant’s experience and education. If filled at the Psychologist - Advanced Professional level, the Staff Psychologist may also provide supervision and training for the Psychology Training Program and Psychological Clinic.
