This is a per diem position. Hourly pay is $250 per hour/shift, depending on the type and timing of shifts worked. Actual compensation will be determined during the selection process and is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, education, and internal equity. Job Summary Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist- Newton-Wellesley Hospital Qualifications Newton-Wellesley Hospital (NWH), a community teaching hospital and proud member of the Mass General Brigham healthcare system, is seeking a full-time Board Eligible or Board Certified Adult Psychiatrist to join our Adult Inpatient Psychiatry Service. Located just outside Boston, Newton-Wellesley Hospital offers the best of both worlds—an academic environment with the warmth and community feel of a smaller hospital. The 45-bed adult inpatient psychiatric unit provides short-term stabilization and treatment in a multidisciplinary setting, serving patients from across the region. Position Highlights: Provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care as part of a collaborative care team, including psychiatrists, social workers, occupational therapists, and nursing staff. Engage in teaching and supervision of medical students and physician assistant students as part of our academic mission. Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate with internal and external providers to ensure high-quality, coordinated care. Requirements

  • MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited psychiatry residency.
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Adult Psychiatry.
  • Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Interest in teaching and working in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
