Behavioral Health & Recovery Services (BHRS) of Stanislaus County provides integrated mental health services to adults and older adults with serious mental illness, and to children and youth with serious emotional disturbance. BHRS also offers outpatient and residential alcohol and drug treatment and prevention services, and serves as Stanislaus County’s Public Guardian. Services are delivered in community-based locations throughout the County by over 500 staff across 80 County-administered programs and community partnerships. BHRS emphasizes partnering with consumers and families, providing culturally competent services, and believes in recovery from mental illness and alcohol/drug addiction. This specific role is for Outpatient Clinic Services, with a Tele-Hybrid model, requiring 30 hours of coverage per week. The position offers flexible 8 or 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday. The EMR system used is SmartCare. The patient census includes adults and adolescents, with initial evaluations lasting 60 minutes and follow-ups lasting 30 minutes. There is no on-call, night, or weekend work required. The role begins with 3 months on-site, followed by a move to a hybrid schedule. Candidates must be comfortable serving chronic county patients and be Board Eligible (within the past 5 years) or Board Certified.
