About The Position

We are looking for a project engineer to join the NGI Operations and Sustainment (O&S) IPT as the Silo Execution Lead. In this role, you will work with planning, CAMs, engineering, SEIT, WSI, production, and other NGI IPTs to ensure the Silo IMS is comprehensive and accurately reflects the effort needed to accomplish O&S Silo scope. You will also collaborate with planning and Subcontract Management to ensure major supplier activities are properly reflected in the program IMS and identify any issues in planned subcontractor approach or logic. Using IMS as the source of truth, you will work with primary POCs to ensure closure of tasks to complete major milestones. You will organize, chair, and drive all schedule-focused meetings, lead efforts to ensure execution of Silo scope, and drive actions and tasks to closure to meet all milestones. Collaboration with broader engineering and functional support teams is key to staying green, and if necessary, developing and implementing Return to Green efforts. You will assess the schedule against emerging issues and communicate to the Silo PM to ensure awareness of potential risks to the schedule.

  • Experience on missile defense programs
  • Analytical problem‑solving capability; data‑driven decision making for root‑cause analysis of schedule slippages and supply‑chain bottlenecks
