About The Position

This role is for a Staff Project Controls Specialist located in Lexington or Louisville, KY. The position requires travel, with a minimum of one week per month. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of direct project controls experience. Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is proficiency in Microsoft Office. An OSHA 10-hour safety certification is also required.

Requirements

• Located in Lexington or Louisville, KY, or willing to travel a minimum of 1 week per month.
• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, construction management, or related field, OR applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
• 3 years of direct project controls experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to obtain OSHA 10-hour safety certification.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Oracle Primavera P6.

Responsibilities

• Manage project controls functions, including scheduling, cost control, and reporting.
• Ensure project documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks.
• Prepare and present project status reports.
• Maintain project schedules using Oracle Primavera P6.
• Monitor project costs and identify potential overruns.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including holding an OSHA 10-hour safety certification.
