About The Position

Assists a project by developing and managing processes, procedures, and tools designed to increase the project’s productivity and may play an integral role as the bridge between Project Managers and the project team. A Project Analyst is tasked to help manage a project’s non-technical requirements. Typically, a project needing a Project Analyst will be of significant size and will require expertise related to the development of project management mechanisms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant work experience.
  • OR
  • Associate's degree and 4+ years of relevant work experience.
  • OR
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 6+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience supporting project management and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Contributes to and updates project planning activities (e.g., plans, schedules, and work breakdown structure) for complex or large-scale projects or processes and/or leads project planning activities for small projects to support Project Managers or Leads.
  • With support and guidance from managers, develops methods for tracking the progress and execution of complex, broad in scope projects, and key metrics to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Innovates and develops processes and methods (e.g. tracking tools, schedules, databases, documentation management systems) for increasing efficiency and accomplishing goals across multiple groups; trains others on use of processes and methods.
  • Facilitates cross-team coordination for large or complex projects to identify and meet needs, communicate progress, ensure compliance with processes and guidelines, and make recommendations.
