Staff Product Manager, Neo AI

TrabaSan Francisco, CA
$210,000 - $250,000Onsite

About The Position

Traba is building the autonomous future of industrial staffing. We are the AI operating layer for the industrial supply chain. We started in workforce—temp staffing, the biggest operational pain point for the manufacturing and logistics customers we serve—and used it to embed ourselves inside their daily operations and create a far better customer experience through technology. Now those same customers are pulling us beyond staffing into the broader operational workflows that run their facilities. That foundation gave us proprietary data from millions of shifts and deep enterprise relationships. But our edge is more than data: by connecting to the systems running across every facility and activating the workers already on our platform to execute against them, we are building applied AI that drives real productivity gains and transforms how the global supply chain operates at scale. We are looking for an entrepreneurial and experienced Product Manager to build Neo, Traba’s AI agent platform for light industrial businesses. Think Claude for Light Industrial. Neo is our bet that software in industrial environments should not simply surface information — it should understand context, reason through ambiguity, make decisions, and execute work on behalf of users. This is a true 0-to-1 product role operating at the frontier of applied AI. You will work directly with founders, product engineers, ML teams, and early design partners to define workflows, shape product strategy, and build products while the underlying model ecosystem continues changing beneath us. The assumptions, capabilities, and constraints will evolve rapidly and the product will evolve with them.

Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of experience as a Product Manager
  • Evidence of launching products from scratch and driving meaningful customer outcomes
  • Experience building AI-native products or customer-facing agent systems
  • Strong technical abilities with the ability to work deeply with engineering and ML teams
  • Ability to read evaluations, reason through system performance, and prototype ideas
  • Experience operating in highly ambiguous startup environments with fast iteration cycles
  • Deep familiarity with AI tools and hands-on experience building with modern AI systems
  • Desire to work at a startup and cover an exceptionally wide surface area
  • A strong work ethic and desire to build a category-defining company
  • Real agent builder: You have launched customer-facing AI products where the system took meaningful actions on behalf of users. Shipping AI features, copilots, chat interfaces, wrappers, or lightweight LLM integrations alone is not enough. You understand agents that execute workflows, orchestrate systems, use tools, maintain context, and perform work autonomously.
  • 0-to-1 operator: You have built products from scratch with real customers and understand the realities of finding product market fit. You have launched, rebuilt, changed direction, killed ideas, and iterated toward signal. You are comfortable creating structure where no playbook exists.
  • Customer-embedded builder: You believe the best products are built shoulder-to-shoulder with customers. You have experience deeply embedding with early customers, understanding workflows firsthand, and rapidly shipping based on direct feedback loops. Experience with forward deployed environments or customer-embedded product development models is highly valued.
  • Technical depth: You are comfortable operating alongside ML engineers and highly technical teams as peers. You can understand evaluations, reason through system tradeoffs, prototype ideas, and participate deeply in technical conversations. You do not need to be an ex-engineer, but you should have strong technical instincts and enjoy getting into the details.
  • AI-native problem solver: You move quickly in environments where models evolve constantly and assumptions regularly break. You understand that building AI products often means navigating prompt rewrites, model shifts, reliability tradeoffs, and capability cliffs.
  • Deeply collaborative: You work seamlessly across engineering, ML, operations, design, leadership, and customers to bring new products to life.
  • Intuitive, analytical, adaptable, and humble: You combine strong instincts with data and can rapidly update your thinking as systems and capabilities evolve.

  • Use data to uncover patterns and answer key product and system questions
  • Evolve our AI product portfolio with a deep understanding of model capabilities and system architecture
  • Visualize and communicate complex concepts from system behavior and evaluations to user experiences and business impact
  • Socialize your work across all levels and departments while synthesizing diverse stakeholder feedback
