About The Position

Robinhood is seeking a Staff Product Manager to join their elite team focused on building the future of finance. This role is crucial for the TradePMR platform, Robinhood's custody and technology solution for registered investment advisors. The team is undertaking an ambitious project to create a next-generation custody platform that will enable advisors to work seamlessly across custodians, incorporate AI-native insights, offer digital onboarding, and provide access to cutting-edge asset classes. The goal is to deliver intuitive, retail-grade tools and experiences to financial advisors and their clients, making TradePMR the most modern and easy-to-use custodian in their technology stack. This position requires a blend of partner advocacy and technical product ownership for the integration platform, focusing on foundational APIs and preparing for future AI-driven advisor workflows.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of product management experience, with significant experience in a technical, platform, or API/integrations-focused PM role.
  • Experience in a high-growth fintech company, navigating regulatory, compliance, and legacy system realities in financial services.
  • A strong, informed perspective on how AI is reshaping fintech and advisor workflows, ideally with experience shipping AI-enabled features or evaluating AI-native vendors.
  • Genuinely technical with a proven ability to build, comfortable as the primary contact with external partner engineering teams, able to reason through API design, authentication (SSO/SAML/OAuth), and data models.
  • Track record of shipping developer-facing platform capabilities (documentation, sandboxes, versioning) in a regulated or enterprise B2B environment.
  • Experience managing a partner or vendor ecosystem, including prioritization frameworks, SOWs/contracts, production-access gating, and managing diverse integration maturities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and executive audiences.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, as this role involves defining 'great' in a newly combined scope.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in wealth management, RIA custody, or advisor technology, or working with custodial/clearing operations (e.g., First Clearing, Schwab, Fidelity).
  • Experience building or scaling a formal integration/partner program (tiering, vendor onboarding, developer portal) from an early stage.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end third-party integration strategy, including prioritizing and scoping APIs and connectivity (e.g., MCP standards), and defining the sandbox, documentation, authentication, and governance.
  • Serve as the primary outward-facing product owner for the technology-partner ecosystem, managing commercial and technical discussions with vendors, scoping statements of work, setting production-access requirements, and representing Robinhood at industry events.
  • Develop and manage a framework for tiering, prioritizing, and resourcing integration requests from numerous vendors and advisor firms, balancing strategic bets with platform coherence and engineering capacity.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering to translate advisor and partner needs into technical requirements, making build-vs-partner-vs-defer decisions, and engaging directly with partner engineering teams on API design and authentication flows.
  • Formulate a clear perspective on how AI and agentic workflows are impacting custodial integrations.
  • Represent the integrations function within Robinhood's broader next-generation custody roadmap, ensuring alignment with long-term vision through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
