Staff Product Manager, Data

Built Technologies•Nashville, TN

About The Position

Built is hiring a Staff Product Manager, Data to own the data capabilities and reporting tools built on its real estate and construction finance platform. The product area includes embedded reporting and analytics, portfolio insights, data delivery into customer systems, and the data foundation supporting AI features. The role partners with data engineering, analytics, and product teams to ensure Built’s core products deliver reliable data value to customers. The position owns a meaningful product area end-to-end with limited direction, setting its roadmap, making tradeoff decisions, and explaining those decisions to stakeholders. The successful candidate will shape data products that help lenders, owners, and general contractors make decisions, while supporting reporting and data features across the customer experience. Built describes its mission as connecting and simplifying business in real estate. Its AI-powered platform serves lenders, borrowers, owners, and contractors in real estate and construction finance. The company emphasizes boldness, customer outcomes, urgency, ownership, and continuous improvement. The position’s six-month success measures include a data roadmap supported by product, engineering, and go-to-market leaders; a shipped data-feature improvement with measurable adoption; agreed definitions and owners for core reporting metrics; fewer customer escalations related to inconsistent numbers; and recognition by product teams as a partner for data-related work. The role is expected to leverage AI tools to improve productivity, quality, and speed, identify automation opportunities, apply AI to decision-making, and share effective practices with the team. Employees who are not based in the Nashville area must travel to the Nashville office at least twice per year for company gatherings. Additional Nashville travel may be required depending on role and business needs.
