About the position
As a product manager at FireHydrant, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's product strategy and execution. Your main responsibility will be to create a compelling roadmap that addresses the needs of our customers and aligns with industry trends. You will collaborate with various teams within the company and have the opportunity to shape the multi-year strategy for your products. Additionally, you will be responsible for delivering value to our customers on a quarterly basis. This role requires experience in product management, strong communication skills, and the ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data to inform decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Own and communicate the product vision and plan the roadmap projects for the product
- Collaborate closely with engineering and design partners to deliver the roadmap across sprints and quarters
- Talk to customers to understand their points of friction and jobs to be done
- Communicate insights and learnings from qualitative, quantitative, and competitive research across the organization
- Collaborate with go-to-market teams to launch product changes to customers
- Deliver updates to the product within one month
- Present user research about customer incidents in FireHydrant
- Create a rough draft of the product vision for Incident Management and present it to the team
- Present and own the product vision for Incident Management within three months
- Create a roadmap and strategic framework for Incident Management to present to the leadership team
- Successfully take multiple improvements through the product development and GTM process
- Execute the strategy laid out through the product vision within six months
- Present a go-to-market strategy for Incident Management and Communications
- Identify large problem areas unaddressed by any other product in the market
- Develop a tight integration strategy to the Service Ownership product
- Become the internal expert on incident management
- Launch a standalone product within one year
- Validate and propose large ambitious problems to tackle
- Be an external expert on incident management
Requirements
- Experience as a product manager with a proven track record of shipping impactful product
- Demonstrable experience in leading a team
- Ability to communicate product decisions, strategies, and rationale behind them
- Comfortable making decisions with multiple different paths forward
- Deep experience working with qualitative customer insights and quantitative customer data
- Understanding of the technical architecture of complex web applications
