About The Position

Redesign Health is seeking a research-driven, product-minded Staff Product Designer to discover, design, and build agentic products that are crucial to the company's decisions regarding founders, concepts, hiring, investors, and healthcare partners. This senior individual-contributor role requires the ability to deeply understand user workflows, translate that understanding into elegant product designs, and build them using AI-native tools. The role encompasses the full product lifecycle, from user research and design to shipping a working front end and making product judgments. The ideal candidate will possess the ownership of a founder, the empathy of a researcher, and the meticulous attention to detail of a designer. They will stay current with frontier AI tooling and continuously evolve their craft. Requirements

10+ years of experience designing and shipping software products, with significant experience in user research.
Proficiency in conducting discovery interviews and synthesizing findings.
Strong design practice across interaction, information architecture, and product thinking.
Visual design as a notable strength, with a portfolio showcasing deeply usable and beautiful products.
Experience reinventing workflows around AI, building working front ends with tools like Claude, Claude Code, and modern AI prototyping environments.
Comfort with HTML/CSS and a modern component framework (React or similar) for building front ends.
Product management instincts, including strategy setting, prioritization, and defining metrics.
Experience working within or building software for investment firms, or a deep understanding of how investors and operators work.
Demonstrated superlative peer-relative performance, such as founding a company, distinguishing oneself in high-talent environments, earning broad scope or trusted ownership, rapid progression, or work that changed a team, product, company, or field.
A high tolerance for ambiguity and a high speed of execution.
Obsession with building products people love and earning user trust.
Outstanding executive presence and ability to elicit critical information.
Ability to help nontechnical leaders understand "the art of the possible."
High bar for craft and taste, believing AI sets the floor and judgment owns the last mile.

Responsibilities

Embed with investment, talent, and global development teams to understand complex workflows through user research (interviews, observation, synthesis).
Translate user insights into clear, opinionated product strategies that leverage AI to improve work processes.
Design products from concept to launch, including information architecture, interaction design, and high-craft visual design.
Architect interfaces for both humans and AI agents, considering tools, context, memory, and failure recovery.
Build working front ends using AI tools like Claude and Claude Code, alongside engineers who handle backend development.
Act as the product manager for assigned workflows, setting strategy, prioritizing, defining success, and measuring impact.
Teach the organization about AI-native product design, contribute reusable patterns to core systems, and support teammates and portfolio companies.
