About The Position

Your mission at Origin is to design intuitive, AI-driven experiences that turn user insights and financial data into actionable recommendations. You’ll lead an end-to-end design process, combining research, benchmarking, and world-class design standards to create seamless, impactful user experiences. Collaborating across teams, you’ll transform complex financial information into polished, high-quality interfaces that empower users to understand, act, and grow with confidence.

Requirements

BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
5+ years of experience as a Product Designer, delivering high-quality digital experiences.
Previous experience designing for fintech or data-rich products, particularly ones focused on AI, insights, or financial platforms.
Strategic product thinking with a strong ability to translate complex concepts into simple, user-centered solutions.
Evidence of a robust design process, including user research, wireframes, interaction design, and high-fidelity prototypes.
Proactive self-starter capable of independently driving projects forward, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
Effective in a remote setting and able to prioritize asks as they come through.
Fluent or native-level English skills.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and data scientists, to deliver AI-driven, insights-focused user experiences.
Translate research insights, user behavior data, and AI capabilities into clear and intuitive design solutions.
Design user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that simplify complex financial data and drive engagement.
Develop polished, high-fidelity visual designs that align with our brand, with a focus on clarity, scalability, and ease of use.
Advocate for intuitive UX that turns AI insights into actionable and empowering experiences for users.
Collaborate closely with developers to ensure design accuracy and seamless implementation.
Plan and conduct usability testing to validate design decisions, incorporating user feedback to refine and improve experiences.
Effectively communicate design rationale to stakeholders, aligning designs with user needs, business goals, and AI-driven opportunities.
Contribute to and maintain design systems and documentation to ensure consistency across products.
Drive innovation in the use of AI and insights within the product, solving challenges with creative and scalable solutions.
