About The Position

Rillet serves accounting and finance teams, providing an AI-native ERP designed for speed, accuracy, and insight. Our platform features a unified data model, extensive native integrations, automated workflows, multi-entity consolidation, and specialized AI agents. We aim to help high-growth companies scale their financial operations efficiently, as evidenced by our perfect customer satisfaction scores and adoption by companies like Mercor and Function Health. Having secured $100M in funding from prominent investors, we are poised to capture a significant market share.

Requirements

5+ years end-to-end design experience from research to implementation across all stages of the design process
3+ years leading design teams in product-driven B2B SaaS environments
Proven ability to solve complex design problems and visualize complex systems, from financial concepts to design system components
Strong cross-functional communication skills with ability to work effectively with internal teams and customers
Challenger mindset that questions the status quo and pulls inspiration from diverse sources to invent new paradigms
Value in-person collaboration and are within commutable distance of our NYC or San Francisco offices (or willing to relocate)
Required to work in-office Tuesdays and Thursdays, plus one additional flexible in-office day

Responsibilities

Define and drive the full design process from user research, product flows, and wire-framing to UI design
Work closely with product and engineering to define both the short-term tactical goals and long-term product vision and roadmap
Establish design principles and set the direction for Rillet's design system
Lead user research initiatives
Understand the array of user goals, business requirements and technical constraints that shape our product
Pull inspiration from various sources to invent new interaction paradigms in finance & accounting
Lead a team of product designers, acting as a mentor and coach to ensure their success
Recruit and onboard new product designers
Be hands-on and contribute directly to Rillet's UX/UI design
