About The Position

Outreach is seeking a talented Staff Product Designer to join their highly skilled, international Product Design team. This role focuses on designing product experiences for their innovative AI-powered sales execution platform, specifically within the Guide - Conversational Intelligence solution. The designer will collaborate with teams owning frequently used product surfaces, shaping the product’s vision and roadmap with cross-functional partners. This is an opportunity for a craftsperson passionate about defining seamless workflow experiences that customers love to use daily, with significant growth potential.

Requirements

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in shaping product visions for AI-powered products, creating design concepts, customer journeys, beautiful and elegant visual UI designs, and crafting interaction details that solve complex customer problems.
  • Curiosity about the latest technologies and experience experimenting with AI regularly to accelerate workflows, prototyping new interaction paradigms and envisioning novel product experiences.
  • Experience leading design for a major feature area or a new zero-to-one product independently and confidence in bringing a strong and informed point of view.
  • Ability to work with complete autonomy and lead collaborative workshops across disciplines to frame problems and ideate solutions.
  • Ability to define entirely new product propositions and solve significant interaction complexity without a clear precedent, especially for AI-powered features, and a deep understanding of emerging design patterns and best practices for AI products.
  • Skill in designing and prototyping at speed using the latest AI design tooling, exploring multiple solutions in parallel, proposing new interactions and UI patterns for conversational AI assistants, agentic automation workflows, prompt authoring patterns, observability and human-in-the-loop experiences.
  • Skilled in presenting and explaining work, process, decisions, and rationale to cross-functional stakeholders and proactively seeking feedback to deliver world-class designs.
  • Ability to skillfully gauge and adjust process and deliverable fidelity for proposed solutions to meet objectives, including: early vision concepts, information architecture, low fidelity wireframes, user flows, prototypes, detailed visual design, and design specifications.
  • Ability to work within fast-paced agile teams across multiple projects where close collaboration is part of the daily rhythm.
  • Outcome-oriented and not easily overwhelmed or discouraged.
  • Experience participating in and driving research activities and utilizing the knowledge of customer needs to envision novel solutions in undefined problem spaces.
  • Systems thinker and ability to utilize, propose, and extend shared components and patterns of our design system.
  • Passion for details and always keeping work refined, simple, elegant, and world-class.
  • Ability to exemplify, maintain, and improve design processes, introducing new methods, frameworks, and tools, to improve the design team’s creativity and efficiency.
  • 10+ years of experience.
  • Clear and succinct communication, both in written and verbal form, to various audiences across the business, including senior leadership.
  • Inclusive, transparent collaboration style and strong stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Define elegant and well-considered product experiences that accelerate sales workflows for the Guide CI Product area.
  • Craft industry-leading system architectures, seamless user flows, usable interaction models, and highly polished visual UI designs for novel AI-powered features.
  • Present well-considered design strategies, concepts and prototypes, and communicate the underlying rationale with confidence to the team and leadership.
  • Balance customer needs, business goals, and technical considerations to ship well-considered product enhancements that deliver measurable impact.
  • Partner closely with other Product Designers to collaborate and iterate on solutions, while also expanding our design system.
  • Partner with Product Managers to shape the product vision, conduct customer interviews, gather qualitative and quantitative insights to support design work, and run usability studies to evaluate proposed solutions.
  • Work with Product, Engineering, and Marketing partners to advance core product capabilities and bring new insights to streamline user flows.
  • Become an expert in the sales personas, their workflows, and user needs.
  • Drive or contribute to evangelizing AI enabled design tools and processes in the design team.
  • Help co-create a vibrant inclusive design culture shaped by team members across US, Czechia, India, with diverse backgrounds and perspectives, focused on mutual support and continuous improvement.
