Requirements

  • 7+ years as a designer, with preferably 2+ years of experience maintaining a design system
  • A portfolio that demonstrates a deep understanding of product design, craftsmanship, and innovative solutions from conception to launch
  • Strong UI design skills with proficiency in Figma
  • Excellent methodical and critical thinking skills

Nice To Haves

  • Content strategy, HTML/CSS knowledge is a bonus

Responsibilities

  • Conduct audits to gather use cases and UX patterns across our digital products, create reusable component and pattern definitions that can support a diverse range of use cases.
  • Identify inconsistencies in existing component usage and design, and deviations from the existing design system
  • Work collaboratively with teams to ensure alignment and adoption of a consistent set of components and patterns
  • Work collaboratively with developers to implement and quality check components
  • Crafting component and pattern usage guidelines
  • Enforce processes to guide the appropriate usage and upkeep of the design system
  • Champion the value and advantages of the design system to internal stakeholders, advocating for its adoption within our organization, and demonstrating its positive impact on user experience and efficiency.
  • Continuously enhance and adapt the design system based on user feedback, industry best practices, and emerging design trends.
