About The Position
TeamHealth is seeking a full-time Staff Physician for an emergency department position at Virtua Voorhees Hospital. This is the flagship hospital in the Virtua Health system in south Jersey. The emergency department has an annual volume of 58,000 and offers up to 70 hours of physician coverage daily, along with APC support. Virtua Voorhees is a designated Primary Stroke Center and recognized by U.S. News & World report for its care in heart failure, stroke, COPD, and diabetic emergencies. The position offers flexible scheduling and a good work-life balance.
Requirements
- Residency-trained in emergency medicine.
- Board-eligible or board-certified in emergency medicine.
- Experienced physicians and newly-graduating residents are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Practice medicine in an established emergency department.
- Provide physician coverage in a fast-paced emergency department.
- Collaborate with seasoned physicians and APCs.
