About The Position

Concentra is seeking an experienced and mission-driven Physician to provide direct patient care at their client's on-site Occupational Medicine practice. The scope of care includes Occupational Medicine (work-related injuries, follow-up care, employment physicals, and testing) and wellness initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in Occupational Medicine or Urgent Care / Emergency Medicine. This role requires DOT certification (provided). Perks include a 4x10 schedule and most federal holidays paid (not worked). Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted medical license
  • Unrestricted DEA license and dispensing license for state of jurisdiction (required prior to start date)
  • Must be eligible to participate in Medicare

Nice To Haves

  • Board Certification or Eligibility in an ABMS or AOA recognized specialty preferred
  • FMCSA NRCME certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

  • Spends 100% of time in the onsite clinic providing direct patient care and creating an exceptional patient experience
  • Ensures day-to-day execution of Concentra's clinical model to drive optimal clinical outcomes
  • Accountable for monitoring, understanding, and effecting key onsite clinic metrics that relate to quality outcomes of Advanced Primary Care - chronic condition management, gaps in care, preventive health and age appropriate screenings, vaccinations, SDOH, wellness initiatives, clinic utilization and patient satisfaction of Occupational Medicine - timely return to work measures after an injury on the job, case duration, lost time, work duty status, reduction in work-related illnesses and improved functional capacity.
  • Complies with APC supervisory requirements
  • Masters use of clinical systems to ensure efficiency, excellent supportive documentation, and follow-through on all patient care orders
  • Ensures compliance with local, State, and Federal Practice Act/Rules and Regulations/WC Regulations
  • Drives patient and client experience metrics.
  • Actively participates in meetings with the client where/when applicable
  • Fosters an environment of collaboration, professionalism, patient/colleague safety, quality care, continuous improvement, and reward and recognition
