About The Position

Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Physician to join our beautiful new center in Branford, Connecticut. Located in the Greater New Haven area, Branford offers a unique opportunity to practice in a vibrant shoreline community while benefiting from the strength, reputation, and resources of Yale New Haven Health. As one of our newest locations, this center provides physicians with the opportunity to help shape the patient experience, contribute to a growing team culture, and make a meaningful impact in the community. You will provide high-quality, evidence-based care for patients presenting with a wide range of urgent and episodic healthcare needs. You will also perform common urgent care procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, splinting, and management of orthopedic-related conditions. Serve as a trusted clinical resource within the center while partnering with providers and team members to ensure exceptional patient outcomes and experiences. Help improve access to high-quality healthcare by delivering convenient, compassionate care to patients and families throughout the Greater New Haven region.

Requirements

  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
  • Active State Medical License
  • Controlled Substance Registration
  • Federal DEA Registration
  • ACLS and PALS Certification
  • Demonstrated experience performing routine urgent care procedures

Nice To Haves

  • Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, family medicine, or related clinical experience preferred
  • Commitment to patient-centered care, teamwork, and clinical excellence
