Growing together. We seek a Staff Pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
- Ability to work 1 day a week within the Mon-Fri, 8:30-5:00 Pharmacy schedule with ability to pick up shifts as needed/available.
- Current pharmacist license in state of Virginia
Responsibilities
- Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
- Provides information to customers about medications and their use
- Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
- Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
- Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
- Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties
