About The Position

Tailor Made Compounding, established in 2016, is a leading compounding pharmacy dedicated to providing quality medications nationwide. We collaborate with physicians to address challenges with hard-to-source and hard-to-compound pharmaceuticals. We are seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join our expanding team. The role involves dispensing medications and ensuring compliance with HIPAA, state, and federal laws, as well as company policies. This position does not involve direct compounding of medications. Hours may vary.

Requirements

• Doctorate Degree of Pharmacy
• Kentucky Pharmacist License

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years of pharmacist experience
• Management experience
• Minimum of 1 year sterile and/or non-sterile compounding experience
• Licensure in additional states

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescribed medications, drugs, and other pharmaceuticals for patient care.
• Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy and determine necessary formulas and ingredients.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians in the mixing, packaging, and labeling of pharmaceuticals.
• Adhere to established procedures for quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of hazardous waste drugs.
• Enter patient data, prescribed medications, and costs into the system.
• Assay medications to determine identity, purity, and strength.
• Educate interns and other medical personnel on pharmacy-related matters.
