For more information, visit www.altruix.com. We are seeking a Full-Time Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations at our Annapolis, MD location. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate, and compliant review and dispensing of medications while maintaining high standards of patient care. The Pharmacist will evaluate medication orders, monitor for potential interactions, support clinical decision-making, and collaborate with pharmacy staff and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented pharmacist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and operational excellence. Compensation for this role ranges from $132,000.00 - $137,000.00 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required
  • Knowledge of principles related to pharmaceutical preparation and practices
  • Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the Maryland Board of Pharmacy

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates physician medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, and potential interactions
  • Maintains patient database to include appropriate current and past medical history, clinical and laboratory data, and concurrent medications
  • Ensures appropriate laboratory tests for monitoring certain high-risk conditions are ordered, evaluated, and discussed with appropriate members of the healthcare team
  • Obtains, as necessary, and maintains all required documentation in accordance with federal and state regulatory agencies and company policy
  • Informs the Pharmacist in Charge of medication-related errors
  • Performs other duties as assigned
