This role offers a collaborative environment, operational involvement, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across multiple rural communities. POSITION OVERVIEW The Staff Pharmacist provides direct customer service while assisting the Pharmacy Director in all aspects of pharmacy operations. This role includes oversight of medication management processes, guiding pharmacy technicians, and supporting initiatives that drive quality care and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Eligible for pharmacist licensure in the State of Maine
- PharmD or Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Previous pharmacy experience in healthcare, retail, or specialty preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build relationships with healthcare teams and community partners
- Comfortable working in a fast paced outpatient pharmacy setting
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient facing pharmacy services
- Oversee medication dispensing and safety protocols
- Guide and support pharmacy technicians
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and clinical standards
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and care teams
- Support pharmacy operations and workflow efficiency
