About The Position
As a PRN Pharmacist on Omnicell’s Specialty Pharmacy team, you will contribute to community well-being, serve as a trusted advisor to patients, and help ensure pharmacy operations are efficient, effective, and continually improving. You will work within a global organization focused on innovation in medication management. The pharmacy serves the local community Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at 1308 Washington St., Watertown, NY 13601.
Requirements
- Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
- Current pharmacist license in good standing in New York.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional, personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services, offering advice and guidance with empathy, confidentiality, and diligence.
- Build effective relationships with local physicians and the medical community to support accurate and safe medication dispensing.
- Develop a strong understanding of pharmacy operations and pursue continual improvement, learning, and leadership to support patient care and pharmacy team development.
- Stay informed about regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and specialty diseases including autoimmune conditions, oncology, Hepatitis C, and HIV.
