Growing together. We seek a part time Staff Pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions. Tour a Genoa Pharmacy at the following link: Genoa Healthcare On-site Pharmacy Tour (youtube.com) Pharmacy located inside of the Mount Rogers Community Services clinic at 216 Hospital Ave, Marion, VA 24354 Schedule for this position will be 1 day a week (flexible) within the Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm Pharmacy Schedule. Opportunity for more hours if willing to work at our Abingdon and Bristol location as needed. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
  • Available to work 1 day a week within the Monday-Friday, 830-5 Pharmacy schedule with ability to pick up more days as needed/available
  • Current pharmacist license in state of Virginia
  • Driver’s License and access to a reliable transportation

Responsibilities

  • Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
  • Provides information to customers about medications and their use
  • Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
  • Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
  • Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
  • Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties
