The Staff Pharmacist provides comprehensive patient care to members by accurately processing and dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and counseling members on healthcare and medication needs. This role involves maintaining confidential information, controlled medications, and required documentation. The pharmacist is expected to model, enforce, and guide Associates on proper Member service techniques to resolve issues within Company guidelines. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations by analyzing reports, implementing loss prevention and safety controls, overseeing quality assurance, and developing action plans. The position also emphasizes maintaining confidentiality and records according to policies and regulations.
